Translations:Critical Entities‘ Resilience Directive (CER)/9/en

The "critical entity" central to the Directive is a public or private entity that a Member State (MS) has classified as belonging to one of the categories in the third column of the table in the Annex (Art 2 Z 1 CER-D). These are essentially undertakings that provide "essential services", i.e., services that are crucial for maintaining vital societal functions, important economic activities, public health and safety, or the preservation of the environment (Art 2 Z 5 CER-D.
